I always love halloween… I had a great time with my *crew*, as we dressed up as “Deal or No Deal”… (one of our friends even shaved his head!!! crazy fun!)  My *baby girl* decided to be “the Scream”…she wanted the mask that does the creepy bleeding thing, but I just couldn’t “go there”. My boy didn’t even dress up. *sniffle sniffle*… I knew the day would come. sighhhhhhh…..finished the weekend off with a football party where my boy got recognized for being “most improved”… I am SOOO PROUD of him!

I have lots of new posts/sessions to share as I’m CRAZY busy with the holiday sessions. I was totally booked up for November, but since I was still getting so many phone calls, I opened up a few “computer only” days to try to accomodate everyone. I also still have two beach days open (november 16 and 18–will post on that separately too, but if you are interested, call asap!)

woo hooo! i got the MILLION dollar briefcase! GO ME! LOL!

okay, I’m posting this one mostly b/c I think it’s hilarious! I was trying to get a shot of my FAKE eyelashes (first time I’ve ever worn some…FUN stuff btw!)… but I didn’t realize the shower curtain right behind me looks like I’m about to get attacked! kinda funny…and spooky? hahaha! (just ignore the ginormous DUMBO ear! I was working the lashes!)

Kevin and I spent two days this week with other photographers from all over the country for our Rings to Rattles seminar. We had such a GREAT group and really had a blast! Thanks to everyone for making is such a success! A special thanks also to our amazing “models”, the Zinn family and Miss Jaymie.

I’m even more excited about speaking at WPPI.  The PLUS class is already sold out, but we’ll be doing a 2 hour Platform presentation… can’t wait!

As you must know, I’m staying pretty slammed right now… ’tis the season!

I’ve been photographing these guys for years… I just love to watch the kiddos grow! It is honestly one of the favorite parts of my job.

I’m excited to share these maternity portraits of this gorgeous mommy who is IN LABOR as I type! I can’t wait to hear that “baby P” arrived safe and sound… I’m also excited to share these because she’s a former “KJ Bride” which ties into our upcoming “Rings to Rattles” seminars.  I was in Dallas a couple weeks ago speaking with Kevin and had the opportunity to photograph a couple of his *brides* (be on the lookout for another one to be blogged SOON–I know she’s stalking too! LOL!)

I have been wanting to share this for a some time….and as I’m now working on the order…I must!  This was my *THIRD*…yes THIRD maternity session with Jackie. She is nothing less than spectacular, and resilient. She bounces back, physically and mentally (3 kiddos in 3 years–are you kidding? **smiles**haha!)… but she always Conquers IT ALL!..and I am blessed to photograph her amazing family. (her hubby is always coming up with his own poses and such too, so I love that he wants to be involved!)  I look forward to meeting new baby “A” in a couple weeks…. these guys adore one another and we always have stories to share after each session! :::mwah::: see you in a couple weeks girl! ::::winks::::

Wow! First of all, I am blown away by all the emails giving me kudos about the “quirky kid quote” albums and wondering if I’m going to sell the templates! I’m thrilled that everyone is so excited–photographers AND clients!  So many photographers have been asking me if they can *steal* the idea and so I’m making it easier… I’m going to sell the 19 template albums I’ve created so far, including the list of 35 questions I send clients (though, the possibilities are endless!)

Each “album” includes 3 basic pages: title page, quote page, image page. You could easily omit the “quote page” and use the image page for both left and right if you didn’t want to use quotes.

In addition, I’m a self proclaimed “quote addict” (font addict too! Is there therapy for these ailments? ha!)… and I am in the process of formatting all my favorite quotes–COMING soon! Stay tuned for details! The beauty of the quotes is that even if you didn’t have “quirky kid quotes”, you could use any quote in it’s place (great for babies or seniors or couples!) I also made a few that could work for engagement and/or bridal sessions (couldn’t leave out Kevin!) I have been creating these for clients using 10 images/quotes, though, you could do as many as you like! They are fun super fun sessions and the parents are having fun “interviewing” their kiddos!
